INCEST VS PARENTING: SHOULD BOYS AND GIRLS SHARE A BED AT HOME?

INCEST VS PARENTING: SHOULD BOYS AND GIRLS SHARE A BED AT HOME?

I recently had a session with a mother who told me that her 16 year old son sleeps with her 14 year old daughter and she thinks there is nothing wrong with it since they are sister and brother.
This blew me away for I could not believe that today with all the exposure and the cases of incest around, any parent would do such a thing!!

I shared with her a recent story of a 17 year old boy that made his two sisters pregnant and she opened up that it is that story that forced her to look for me for a discussion about the situation in her home. I definitely appreciate that she found it important to open up and share this, thanks to her other parents out there can check themselves and see if they are not making the same mistake.

Dear parents, please be mindful about your children and the situation at hand. Teenagers face different reactions during puberty and their bodies demand for sexual activity but they also have the capacity to control themselves if they are well informed and empowered.
However don’t make it hard for them to deal with their situations by making them sleep with the opposite sex no matter how they relate.

There is high increase of Incest today and all parents should be mindful and careful. Don’t trust your daughters with anyone, not their brother, not their uncles, not their cousins, not even their fathers, remember the girls are the ones that get pregnant and so the effects hurt girls more.

It is equally important that parents create time to talk to their children about these issues or if you can not, then involve services of counselors or a close friend that you trust your children can open up to. Children need to know the dangers related to involving in sexual activities and the consequences. Information is power, Knowledge is wisdom.

My Client promised to separate the two children immediately and also be very mindful going forward.
To all parents, open your eyes and see.
The world has changed and we must be ready to react accordingly.

Don’t Trust your daughters with anyone.
NO ONE Absolutely.
